FAQ

What is your turnaround time?

Turn around time on orders is 6-8 weeks, this is because everything is made to order meaning fabric and materials aren’t ordered until you order your item, this produces less waste and makes your items more sustainable. All orders will be shipped no later than the 8 weeks and once shipped the time it takes to arrive is out of my hands. If you need your items by a certain date please bare this in mind when ordering

Where do you ship to?

Pomshell is global! I’m happy to ship my items anywhere but customs/tax fees are out of my control and it is your responsibility to pay these.

All items are sent tracked with by Royal Mail, Evri or dpd. The rest of the world is sent tracked Royal Mail. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email to let you know.

I have no control over when the items arrive. I provide the tracking details and cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit. If this does happen you would need to take it up with the postage service and supply the tracking number.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Please see my ‘refunds and exchange’ page.

Do you offer alterations?

Yes! Charges may apply depending on the alterations being made, please contact pomshell@outlook.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Postage will be covered by yourself.

How do I care for my items?

All orders come with a care instructions that explains how to care for your items.

Earrings - To maintain the fluffiness of your earrings I suggest brushing with an old toothbrush and reshaping if needed by cupping in your hands and gently shaking them, you also may need to trim them from to to time, this is perfectly normal and once trimmed they’ll be as good as new. All findings are hypoallergenic, please keep out of contact with water, sprays, and lotions.

Clothing - Wash at 30 degrees celsius or hand wash, please read care labels on each item. Hang to dry, do not tumble dry. Iron on a cool setting. As all items are hand made I would advise only washing when you’re item is dirty as you will get longer out of them and also save the planet one less wash at a time.

How Sustainable is Pomshell?

As a small made to order brand I only order the materials I need once orders have been placed, this reduces waste and over consumption. All packaging is recyclable (just peel off postage labels). Boxes can also be reused and my parcel envelopes are 100% recyclable so please don’t through them in with your general waste.
